Water ripple sheet is a decorative stainless steel sheet pressed through purpose-built mould presses to create a 3D wave pattern across the surface. Each indentation catches light at a different angle. This produces a fluid, water-like visual that shifts with the viewer's position. The base starts as a mirror-polished, satin, or brushed stainless steel water ripple sheet before passing through the embossing press.
Stainlessinox LLP manufactures and supplies water ripple stainless steel sheets from our production facility in Khopoli, near Mumbai, backed by our main office in Lower Parel. With over 3 decades of experience in this industry and ISO certification, we maintain one of the largest decorative stainless steel sheet inventories in India. Our company supplies architects, interior designers, elevator manufacturers, false ceiling contractors, hospitality developers, and shopfitting and retail fit-out contractors throughout India.

We supply 4 types of water ripple sheets, each designed for different aesthetic and performance needs: mirror water ripple sheet, satin/brushed water ripple sheet, PVD coloured water ripple sheet, and anti-fingerprint (AFP) water ripple sheet.

The mirror variant uses an 8K super mirror-polished stainless steel base. Its high-gloss surface produces defined and distorted reflections across the ripple contours. This creates a liquid-water visual. Hotel lobbies, retail displays, and residential feature walls are the most common uses for this rippled mirror finish.

Satin and brushed variants start with a No.4 directional grain or non-directional brushed texture before the ripple stamping process. Lower reflectivity helps mask fingerprints and surface marks. Elevator cabins, corridor panels, and office interiors benefit from the more understated appearance of these stainless steel decorative sheets.

PVD water ripple sheets carry a vacuum-deposited titanium colour coating that resists scratching and UV exposure. Available in gold, rose gold, champagne gold, black, bronze, sapphire blue, silver, and green. Each colour shifts in tone as light moves across the water ripple texture, adding a dynamic visual to wall panels and ceilings.

AFP water ripple sheets include a transparent nano-coating applied over the mirror or PVD surface. The nanoINOX coating repels oils and water, reducing smudge marks and simplifying maintenance. Elevator panels, kitchen equipment, and other high-touch surfaces benefit most from this variant.
Water ripple stainless steel sheets serve 5 application categories: ceiling decoration, wall cladding, elevator interiors, hospitality and retail, and exterior facades.

Common questions about our water ripple stainless steel sheets answered by our technical team.
Water ripple sheets are used for ceiling cladding, wall panels, elevator interiors, facade decoration, and furniture accents. Hotels, restaurants, retail spaces, corporate offices, and residential interiors are the main end-use segments in India.
Yes. Water ripple sheets are made from corrosion-resistant stainless steel with strong heat tolerance. PVD-coated variants don't fade or peel. The base material is fireproof, waterproof, and suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.
Two methods are standard. Method 1 uses a metal suspension grid: ceiling anchors are fixed to the slab, hooked steel rods are inserted, and cross frames form the grid. Ripple sheet tiles are laid into the grid after MEP clearances. Method 2 bonds the sheet to a plywood substrate with adhesive, and wooden strips hold the panel for 12 hours until fully set.
Standard water ripple sheet size is 1000x2000 mm, 1219x2438 mm (4x8 ft), and 1219x3048 mm (4x10 ft). Custom cut-to-size sheets are available. Thickness ranges from 0.5 mm to 1.2 mm.
We offer 8 PVD colours: gold, rose gold, champagne gold, black, bronze, sapphire blue, silver, and green. All are applied through Physical Vapour Deposition for a permanent, fade-resistant finish.
